                          This string belongs to the synthetic gut family and the entry level option squash and tennis string sets. The construction normally consists of a solid monofilament core wrapped with nylon filaments and can sometimes be coated for extra durability.

                          For tennis, these strings are good for beginners and getting frames off the shelves and into players hands. Syn gut is generally is a little more durable than multifilaments with a basic level of power and feel with the trade off being string movement and tension lowering over time.

                          A natural progression from syn gut in tennis is to move into monofilment (soft polys), hybrids or multifilaments. For squash, a natural move is towards  multifilaments or monofilaments if preferred which deluver more feel and power.

                          For squash players seeking a good value for money string type, syn-gut is a entry level option for the beginner to intermediate player.
